Key Responsibilities
Educate Kentucky clients on life, health, Medicare-related, supplemental health, and private insurance options.
Conduct needs-based conversations and identify coverage gaps with individuals, families, retirees, self-employed individuals, and small businesses.
Present coverage recommendations clearly and professionally.
Provide clear explanations of benefits, premiums, exclusions, renewals, and coverage limitations.
Assist clients with applications, enrollment, underwriting follow-up, policy delivery, and service needs.
Follow MRW Solutions Group’s sales process from initial contact through application and ongoing service.
Manage leads, referrals, appointments, follow-up tasks, and client communications.
Build and manage a pipeline using company-provided leads, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
Provide first-class client service before, during, and after enrollment.
Use CRM, quoting tools, carrier portals, and virtual meeting systems effectively.
Meet or exceed sales, activity, service, and retention goals.
Complete required training, carrier certifications, and continuing education.
Maintain compliance with all applicable Kentucky, federal, carrier, and MRW Solutions Group guidelines.
Stay current with carrier training, product updates, compliance rules, and continuing education requirements.
Represent MRW Solutions Group professionally and ethically at all times.

Requirements

Required Qualifications
Active Kentucky Life and Health insurance producer license, or ability to obtain the required Kentucky license before selling.
Two or more years of insurance sales experience, or a strong willingness to learn if changing careers.
Strong communication, sales, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to navigate gatekeepers, break down barriers, and create new opportunities.
Strong comfort with technology, CRM systems, carrier platforms, quoting tools, and virtual communication.

Kentucky Licensing Note
The Kentucky Department of Insurance’s Division of Licensing oversees licensing for individuals and business entities engaged in insurance transactions, including compliance with licensing laws, continuing education, and pre-licensing education. Kentucky agents must complete 24 hours of continuing education, including at least 3 hours of ethics, during the applicable biennium.
