Exceptional Client Service
Clients rely on you to help them make important coverage decisions. You must be able to listen carefully, identify client needs, explain options clearly, and provide ongoing support with professionalism and empathy.


Sales, Networking, and Business Development
A successful agent actively seeks opportunities through referrals, networking, community engagement, and consistent follow-up. This business rewards discipline, persistence, and initiative.


Adaptability and Continuous Learning
A top MRW Solutions Group agent is coachable, flexible, technology-capable, and willing to keep learning as the market changes.


Key Responsibilities
  • Educate Ohio clients on life, health, Medicare-related, supplemental health, and private insurance options.

  • Conduct needs-based conversations with individuals, families, retirees, self-employed individuals, and small businesses.

  • Present coverage recommendations clearly and professionally.

  • Assist clients with applications, enrollment, underwriting follow-up, policy delivery, and service needs.

  • Follow MRW Solutions Group’s sales process from initial contact through application and ongoing service.

  • Manage leads, referrals, appointments, follow-up tasks, and client communications.

  • Build and manage a pipeline using company-provided leads, referrals, networking, and community outreach.

  • Provide first-class client service before, during, and after enrollment.

  • Use CRM, quoting tools, carrier portals, and virtual meeting systems effectively.

  • Meet or exceed sales, activity, service, and retention goals.

  • Complete required training, carrier certifications, and continuing education.

  • Maintain compliance with all applicable Ohio, federal, carrier, and MRW Solutions Group guidelines.

  • Stay current with carrier training, product updates, compliance rules, and continuing education requirements.

  • Represent MRW Solutions Group professionally and ethically at all times.

Requirements

Required Qualifications


  • Active Ohio Life and Accident & Health insurance license, or ability to obtain the required Ohio license before selling.

  • Two or more years of insurance industry sales experience, or strong willingness to learn if transitioning into insurance.

  • Strong communication and consultative selling skills.

  • Ability to explain insurance concepts in simple, client-friendly language.

  • Strong technology skills and ability to adapt quickly.

  • Ability to prospect, follow up, overcome objections, and close business professionally.

  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to grow.

Ohio Licensing Note

Ohio resident agents holding major lines such as Life or Accident & Health must complete 24 hours of approved continuing education before renewal, including 3 hours of ethics-specific education.
